How the workspace works
Last updated
A Marktspan workspace is the boundary for your company data: connections, costs, roles, and automation policies. You invite teammates, assign roles, and optionally restrict which modules each role can view or edit. The goal is not to replicate your org chart perfectly on day one—it is to make sure finance, marketplace ops, and leadership see the same numbers when they argue about next week's priorities.
Navigation follows a rhythm most teams already use in standups. Plan covers research, assortment decisions, and campaign intent. Manage is catalog, orders, stock, pricing, promotions, and channel-specific tooling. Analyze is P&L, Sales Pulse, ranking, and health signals. You can work in All connections scope for a portfolio view or drill into a single Bol, Kaufland, or Pigu account when the decision is channel-specific. Mixing scopes by accident is a common onboarding mistake; the sidebar makes the active scope obvious, and many modules respect that scope for filters and write actions.
Roles typically split three ways even in smaller teams. Leadership wants trustworthy margin and weekly trends. Marketplace managers need stock, Buy Box, and ad context without exporting CSVs. Finance cares about fees, invoices, and missing COGS. Marktspan does not force one persona to learn every screen—you can tune visibility so analysts see Analyze modules while warehouse leads stay in Manage. Exact role and tab-access fields are configured in Settings after you sign in.
Multi-connection workspaces are the norm for brands selling Bol and Kaufland together, or adding Pigu in the Baltics. Each connection syncs on its own schedule; aggregated P&L and Pulse views union results without double-counting when SKUs span channels. When you add a second marketplace, read Coordinate multi-marketplace operations for habits that prevent crossed credentials or duplicated offers.
Your next practical steps are connecting a channel (Connect and first sync) and making margin believable (Costs and trustworthy margin). If you want a human walkthrough of scopes and roles, Contact sales—especially when you are rolling out to more than ten seats.

Honest marketplace scope
Live seller operations emphasize Bol.com, Kaufland, and Pigu (PHH Group) today. Mirakl remains connect-first until your rollout confirms ingest for your operator. Ad Pilot applies to Bol Sponsored Products only; Pigu advertising uses Martailer separately from Ad Pilot. Retailers shown as coming soon on marketing surfaces are not described here as shipped product.
