Launch controlled ad automation

Last updated

Launching ad automation on Bol should feel boring—in a good way. You choose a narrow job, enroll a bounded SKU set, set spend and bid guardrails, require approvals for writes, and review evidence weekly. Ad Pilot is Bol Sponsored Products only; if your growth plan is Pigu Martailer, run that program with Martailer tooling and separate reporting.

Define the job. Examples: defend rank on three hero SKUs, harvest efficient terms on a mature listing, or test a launch with capped daily spend. Write the job in one sentence leadership agrees to.

Prerequisites. Connection healthy, costs credible on enrolled SKUs (Establish a margin baseline), and organic listing issues addressed via Product Health where relevant.

Configure guardrails. Daily budgets, minimum ROAS or contribution targets, keyword negatives, and kill switches in Ad Pilot. Enable approvals if multiple people touch campaigns.

Pilot length. Run two weeks minimum before expanding enrollment—compare Pulse ad attribution and P&L contribution, not just retailer ROAS.

Scale or stop. If contribution erodes, shrink automation before blaming "the algorithm." If it works, document the playbook for the next SKU wave.

Step-by-step screens and ads troubleshooting live in the signed-in operator handbook. Public packaging: Pricing.

Where to go next in the docs

Stay on this public guide for outcomes and rollout planning. For click-by-click operator procedures, sign in and open Get Help → Documentation. Evaluation teams should skim the FAQ, then Plans, billing, and getting help or Pricing before you commit production credentials.

When to call this use case done

Treat the playbook as complete when your team repeats the outputs in a weekly forum without exporting ad-hoc spreadsheets—usually within two weeks of a healthy first sync. If numbers look empty or stale, pause process changes and fix connection health first; process cannot compensate for missing data.

Honest marketplace scope

Live seller operations emphasize Bol.com, Kaufland, and Pigu (PHH Group) today. Mirakl remains connect-first until your rollout confirms ingest for your operator. Ad Pilot applies to Bol Sponsored Products only; Pigu advertising uses Martailer separately from Ad Pilot. Retailers shown as coming soon on marketing surfaces are not described here as shipped product.
