Onboard your workspace
Last updated
Onboarding a workspace is more than clicking through a connection wizard—it is the week you teach the organization to trust one set of numbers. This playbook assumes you are starting with at least one live Bol, Kaufland, or Pigu seller account (not Mirakl-only) and a small core team of admin, marketplace lead, and finance touchpoint.
Day 1–2: Connect and verify. Authorize credentials for your first marketplace following Connect marketplaces and your first sync. Wait for the first sync to finish, then compare order counts and top SKUs against the retailer portal. If data looks empty, resist rebuilding dashboards elsewhere—fix connection health in-app first (sign in → Get Help → Documentation for the sync checklist).
Day 3–4: Margin on heroes. Import or enter COGS for your highest velocity and highest ad-spend SKUs per Costs and trustworthy margin. Perfection is not the goal; intentional coverage is. Finance can own the file while ops validates offer linkage.
Day 5: Roles and rhythm. Invite teammates, align roles with How the workspace works, and schedule a recurring 45-minute review—template in Run a weekly marketplace review. Leadership should attend the first two sessions so questions about "which number is right" get settled early.
Week 2: Expand or automate. Add a second connection if multi-channel is in scope (Coordinate multi-marketplace operations). Only after margin and Pulse look credible should Bol sellers pilot Launch controlled ad automation. Pigu teams using Martailer should plan ads outside Ad Pilot.
Escalate packaging, security questionnaires, or hands-on kickoffs through Contact and Pricing. For click-by-click procedures after you purchase, sign in and open Get Help → Documentation.
Where to go next in the docs
Stay on this public guide for outcomes and rollout planning. For click-by-click operator procedures, sign in and open Get Help → Documentation. Evaluation teams should skim the FAQ, then Plans, billing, and getting help or Pricing before you commit production credentials.
When to call this use case done
Treat the playbook as complete when your team repeats the outputs in a weekly forum without exporting ad-hoc spreadsheets—usually within two weeks of a healthy first sync. If numbers look empty or stale, pause process changes and fix connection health first; process cannot compensate for missing data.
Honest marketplace scope
Live seller operations emphasize Bol.com, Kaufland, and Pigu (PHH Group) today. Mirakl remains connect-first until your rollout confirms ingest for your operator. Ad Pilot applies to Bol Sponsored Products only; Pigu advertising uses Martailer separately from Ad Pilot. Retailers shown as coming soon on marketing surfaces are not described here as shipped product.
