What is Marktspan?
Last updated
Marktspan is an agent-native operations platform built for European marketplace sellers who need margin truth, faster diagnosis, and automation they can defend in a weekly review. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, ad consoles, and channel-specific tools, your team works from one workspace scoped to each marketplace connection while still seeing rolled-up performance when you need the full picture.
The product is organized around six capabilities you will see on the homepage: P&L visibility, Sales Pulse, Ad Pilot, insights to act on, one place to manage all, and MCP with Mark AI. Those names are intentional—they describe outcomes, not a laundry list of tabs. Under the hood, live seller operations today center on Bol.com, Kaufland, and Pigu (PHH Group). Mirakl can be connected for early access workflows, but full ingest and day-to-day ops for Mirakl are still maturing. Ad Pilot applies to Bol Sponsored Products only; Pigu advertising runs through Martailer and is managed separately from Ad Pilot.
Most teams arrive with the same pain: revenue moves, nobody agrees why, and ad spend feels like a black box. Marktspan connects marketplace APIs, normalizes orders and fees, and surfaces profit and bridge-style explanations so you can prioritize fixes. Agents and AI features propose changes; humans approve before anything writes back to marketplaces when the action is sensitive.
European marketplace operations differ from generic e-commerce playbooks: fee schedules, fulfillment methods, and retailer policies change by country, and a single brand often runs Bol in the Benelux, Kaufland in DACH, and Pigu in the Baltics simultaneously. Marktspan is built for that fragmentation—one workspace, multiple connections, shared cost keys—without pretending every channel behaves identically. When marketing pages mention future retailers, treat them as roadmap signals; your rollout plan should anchor on what is live today in Marketplace connections.
If you are evaluating the platform, start with How the workspace works, then Connect marketplaces and your first sync. Skim the six capability chapters under Modules to see how homepage language maps to product areas. Operators who need field-level detail should sign in and open the operator handbook. Questions about packaging belong on Plans, billing, and getting help or Pricing. For a first-week checklist once you purchase, see Onboard your workspace.

Honest marketplace scope
Live seller operations emphasize Bol.com, Kaufland, and Pigu (PHH Group) today. Mirakl remains connect-first until your rollout confirms ingest for your operator. Ad Pilot applies to Bol Sponsored Products only; Pigu advertising uses Martailer separately from Ad Pilot. Retailers shown as coming soon on marketing surfaces are not described here as shipped product.
