Run a weekly marketplace review
Last updated
A weekly marketplace review is the habit that keeps Marktspan from becoming shelfware. Block 45 minutes, same attendees, same agenda. You are not solving every SKU—you are deciding what earns deep work next week.
Minutes 0–10: Pulse bridge. Open Sales Pulse on All connections or the channel in focus. Name the top driver of revenue change versus prior week. Assign one owner to validate the story with catalog or ads data.
Minutes 10–20: Margin check. In P&L visibility, scan contribution on heroes. Flag new missing costs or fee spikes finance must reconcile. If margin moved opposite to revenue, schedule a deeper dive using Diagnose a sales decline.
Minutes 20–30: Stock and fulfillment. Review severe stock alerts and days of cover (Stock & Inventory). Stockouts scheduled for next week belong on the action list before ad spend increases.
Minutes 30–40: Ads and promos. Bol teams review Ad Pilot activity and approvals. Kaufland teams note vouchers or repricing events. Pigu teams check Martailer separately—do not conflate with Ad Pilot. Note promotions ending or starting on Bol.
Minutes 40–45: Actions. Three written actions maximum, each with owner and due date. Link actions to modules so nobody rebuilds context from memory.
Rotate connection scope weekly if you run Bol and Kaufland—see Coordinate multi-marketplace operations. New workspaces should run this meeting only after first sync and hero COGS are in place (Onboard your workspace).
Where to go next in the docs
Stay on this public guide for outcomes and rollout planning. For click-by-click operator procedures, sign in and open Get Help → Documentation. Evaluation teams should skim the FAQ, then Plans, billing, and getting help or Pricing before you commit production credentials.
When to call this use case done
Treat the playbook as complete when your team repeats the outputs in a weekly forum without exporting ad-hoc spreadsheets—usually within two weeks of a healthy first sync. If numbers look empty or stale, pause process changes and fix connection health first; process cannot compensate for missing data.
Honest marketplace scope
Live seller operations emphasize Bol.com, Kaufland, and Pigu (PHH Group) today. Mirakl remains connect-first until your rollout confirms ingest for your operator. Ad Pilot applies to Bol Sponsored Products only; Pigu advertising uses Martailer separately from Ad Pilot. Retailers shown as coming soon on marketing surfaces are not described here as shipped product.
