Recover from stockouts
Last updated
Stockouts destroy Buy Box share, stall ads, and leave P&L looking worse than the underlying demand. Treat availability as a first-class incident—not a warehouse footnote—then reconnect traffic and automation only after cover is credible.
Confirm the gap. Compare days of cover and recent stockouts in Stock & Inventory with order demand from Sales Pulse for the same SKUs. Separate true zero-stock from delayed inbound, warehouse mis-mapping, or a single connection that failed to sync offers.
Protect spend while empty. Pause or tightly cap Bol Sponsored Products on out-of-stock offers so you do not buy clicks you cannot fulfill. Keep Pigu Martailer reviews on the same cadence outside Ad Pilot. Repricing floors should not chase Buy Box when you cannot ship.
Restore supply. Align inbound dates with marketplace lead times, then verify offers flip available after the next sync. Prefer One place to manage all stock and catalog views over side spreadsheets so ops and finance share one truth.
Rebuild demand deliberately. Once cover returns, use Diagnose a sales decline to see whether rank, conversion, or ads still lag. Re-enable automation only with guardrails from Launch controlled ad automation.
Close the loop on margin. Check contribution on recovered heroes in P&L visibility—expedited freight and promotions often hide in the recovery week. Capture a short postmortem for the next weekly marketplace review.
Where to go next in the docs
Stay on this public guide for outcomes and rollout planning. For click-by-click operator procedures, sign in and open Get Help → Documentation. Evaluation teams should skim the FAQ, then Plans, billing, and getting help or Pricing before you commit production credentials.
When to call this use case done
Treat the playbook as complete when your team repeats the outputs in a weekly forum without exporting ad-hoc spreadsheets—usually within two weeks of a healthy first sync. If numbers look empty or stale, pause process changes and fix connection health first; process cannot compensate for missing data.
Honest marketplace scope
Live seller operations emphasize Bol.com, Kaufland, and Pigu (PHH Group) today. Mirakl remains connect-first until your rollout confirms ingest for your operator. Ad Pilot applies to Bol Sponsored Products only; Pigu advertising uses Martailer separately from Ad Pilot. Retailers shown as coming soon on marketing surfaces are not described here as shipped product.
