Sales Pulse
Last updated
Sales Pulse answers the question every Monday meeting asks: "Why did revenue move?" Instead of debating anecdotes, you get a GMV bridge that decomposes change into volume, price, mix, stockouts, traffic proxies, conversion, Buy Box, and advertising contributions where data exists. The module is built for decision speed—identify the dominant driver, assign an owner, and link to the Manage or Ad screens that fix it.
Pulse reads from Marktspan's own analytics store fed by marketplace syncs for Bol, Kaufland, and Pigu operations. It is designed to align with P&L timing so you are not comparing a Pulse bridge to a margin chart that uses a different order window. When numbers disagree, check connection scope, date filters, and whether returns or cancellations landed in the selected period—operators use Sales Pulse for field-level definitions.
Effective teams use Pulse as a triage layer, not a verdict. A bridge might show volume down because stock aged out; the fix is replenishment, not bids. Another week might show ad-attributed lift with flat organic rank—then you coordinate with Ad Pilot and Insights to act on. The dedicated playbook Diagnose a sales decline walks through separating stock, traffic, conversion, Buy Box, ads, and margin stories before anyone changes prices.
Sales Pulse does not replace marketplace native analytics entirely—some retailers expose search impressions only in their portals—but it unifies what you need for weekly operating reviews across connections. For seasonal planning, combine Pulse trends with Prepare for peak season so you watch leading indicators weeks before revenue spikes or craters.
If you are new, connect data first (Connect and first sync), then run one full weekly review cycle before customizing thresholds. Pulse becomes more valuable once costs are "good enough" on heroes—see P&L visibility for that parallel track.
Where to go next in the docs
Stay on this public guide for outcomes and rollout planning. For click-by-click operator procedures, sign in and open Get Help → Documentation. Evaluation teams should skim the FAQ, then Plans, billing, and getting help or Pricing before you commit production credentials.
How this maps to the product
Guide module chapters follow the six homepage capabilities, not every sidebar label. Specialized tools such as vouchers, invoicing, or ranking appear after sign-in in the operator handbook and roll up here by outcome so public docs stay readable.
Honest marketplace scope
Live seller operations emphasize Bol.com, Kaufland, and Pigu (PHH Group) today. Mirakl remains connect-first until your rollout confirms ingest for your operator. Ad Pilot applies to Bol Sponsored Products only; Pigu advertising uses Martailer separately from Ad Pilot. Retailers shown as coming soon on marketing surfaces are not described here as shipped product.
